Terms & Conditions

Our commitment to transparency and protecting your rights while using our services

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. This document forms a legally binding agreement between you and Webtoz.

2. Services Description

We offer a range of internet connectivity solutions including fiber and LTE options. Each service package has specific features such as speed, data allowances, and additional benefits that are detailed in the respective service descriptions.

3. User Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account information secure and confidential. All activities that happen under your account are your responsibility. If you notice any unauthorized access to your account, please contact us immediately.

4. Billing and Payment

All service payments are due in advance on a monthly basis. We offer various payment options as listed on our billing page. Please note that failure to pay may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of your services.

5. Delivery Fees and Policies

All hardware orders incur a delivery fee, including complimentary routers, SIM cards, and any additional hardware items (such as mini UPS devices). This fee will appear on your first invoice and is based on your delivery option selection during checkout.

For customers in outlying areas, please be aware that deliveries may take between 24-72 hours longer than standard deliveries, as courier services only operate in these areas 1-2 times per week.

Important: Delivery addresses cannot be changed on the same day as scheduled delivery. Any address changes requested on the delivery day will result in rescheduling for the next business day.

6. Hardware and Service Upgrades

When upgrading your connectivity service to a package requiring a different or upgraded router from Webtoza, a total courier fee of R498 will apply. This includes R249 for collecting your current router and R249 for delivering the new router.

7. Service Relocation

If you're moving to a new location, you must continue using your original Webtoza-provided router when transferring your existing connectivity service. Should your new location require an upgraded service with a different router, standard courier fees for collection and delivery will apply.

8. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your service at any time by providing 30 days' notice. Webtoza reserves the right to terminate services if these terms are violated or if our services are used inappropriately.

9. FTTH Service Terms

Webtoza will inform you within a reasonable timeframe whether fiber is available at your location and provide an estimated installation date. Please note that feasibility maps come from Fiber Network Operators and may occasionally be inaccurate.

You may cancel your FTTH order in writing if the installation timeframe exceeds 6 months. In such cases, Webtoza may charge for costs already incurred.

If Webtoza covers your setup fees and you cancel during the initial contract period, you'll be responsible for the installation fee as determined by the Fiber Network Operator. This fee doesn't apply if you already have an active, undamaged fiber line, though a connection fee will still apply upon cancellation.

Webtoza only covers standard trenching limits set by the Fiber Network Operator. For additional trenching, the operator will contact you directly with a quote.

10. Payment Terms

You agree to pay Webtoza for all services and products as specified in your application form, with payments due one month in advance on the first working day of each calendar month.

If you cancel during the initial contract period, you'll be responsible for any setup fees that were initially deferred.

11. Router and Equipment

Please specify your router requirements during signup. If you don't select a complimentary router on the order form, we cannot guarantee hardware delivery or issue credits for this omission.

The router remains Webtoza property and is provided free of charge for the duration of your agreement. If you cancel during the initial period, you can either purchase the router at retail value or return it in its original condition within 10 days of service deactivation.

When returning the router, ensure all accessories (LAN cable, power cable, etc.) are included. Missing items will be charged to your account.

For fiber speeds of 200 Mbps or higher, you may need an upgraded router. You can either pay R498 for courier exchange service or visit our offices to exchange the router yourself at no additional cost.

Our hardware warranty doesn't cover damage from accidents, natural disasters, or load-shedding. You're responsible for protecting the hardware and may be liable for full replacement costs for damage due to power-related issues.

12. Moving Premises

If you're moving premises, submit a written request to Webtoza. Moving your service requires cancellation at your current location and a new order at your new location.

Webtoza will arrange a feasibility study with the relevant Fiber Network Operator and inform you of relocation possibilities and associated costs.

If relocation isn't possible, you remain liable for charges at the original location unless you transfer the agreement to the new occupier.

When relocating, you must bring your current router to the new location. The subsequent tenant at your previous address will need to acquire their own router.

All other terms, including the initial contract period, remain unchanged when relocating your service.

13. Service Upgrades and Downgrades

Changing your bandwidth is considered an upgrade (higher bandwidth) or downgrade (lower bandwidth), not a service termination.

A one-time fee applies for downgrades to lower bandwidth, in addition to adjusted subscription charges.

Webtoza will implement requested changes and apply relevant charges from the date the change takes effect.

14. Equipment and Software

All equipment installed by Webtoza remains our property unless you've paid for it in full. You agree to:

  • Take reasonable care of the equipment
  • Not sell, lease, mortgage, transfer, or encumber the equipment
  • Not relocate equipment without Webtoza's permission
  • Inform your landlord (if applicable) that the equipment belongs to Webtoza
  • Return the equipment at your expense when the agreement terminates

If equipment is lost, damaged, or not returned, you agree to pay Webtoza the reasonable value plus any costs incurred in seeking its recovery.

15. Discounts and Promotions

If you cancel your fiber service within 12 months of activation, you'll be liable to repay the value of any promotional offers received during this period.

Webtoza reserves the right to terminate, extend, or amend promotions at any time with reasonable notice.

Multiple promotions generally cannot be combined unless specifically stated otherwise.

Most promotions are for new orders only. Existing customers cannot cancel and reapply to receive promotional offers.

Our referral program offers a R500 account credit for each successful monthly fiber subscription referral, with a maximum credit of R2,500 per customer.

All offers are subject to Errors & Omissions Excepted (E&OE).
